To: All new and continuing MEM students:
Hi! It’s time to make plans and secure your reservations to attend MEM Residency 2019. All the information you need is available via the Summer Residency tab at MEM Community (see screen shot below). A few specific action items:
· Make your hotel reservation ASAP. Hotel blocks and contact info are included in the MEM Summer Residency info.
· RSVP to let us know whether you are able to attend. We encourage all MEM students to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to learn and network with fellow students and faculty.
This year’s Residency include some special, high-value additions, made in response to suggestions from past students. We have reduced the length of course-introduction sessions to make room for some new workshops that go beyond the content in MEM courses. We have added a half-day workshop on Essential Coaching and Mentoring Skills, which are critical to enabling you to help your teams excel. We have also added a workshop on Managing Up and Across, helping you to more effectively manage relationships with your managers and peers. I guarantee you will find these workshops to be high-value learning opportunities. A schedule and agenda for the entire MEM Residency 2019 has been posted.
