  Our MEM Summer Residency is cancelled this summer due to the COVID-19 restrictions, to keep us all safe. I will be working with staff and faculty to plan alternates, and will communicate those to you as soon as our plans are more concrete. We are considering a shortened online conference at the original time, with a weekend meet up in Madison after the restrictions have lifted and it is safer for us to come together.
  
  I am sorry for this news; I know it is disappointing! Stay safe, and we will come back together on the other side.

  Planning is proceeding well on our modified MEM Summer Residency for 2020. I hope the move to an online format means that every MEM student can attend!
  
  Please mark your calendars: our MEM Summer <Virtual> Residency 2020 will occur on Tuesday, August 11!
