MEM First-Year Students:
Congratulations on completing your first Fall semester! You have done exceptionally in conquering a demanding (and hopefully fulfilling) study workload in the midst of many other challenges at home and at work.
It has been especially gratifying to see how you have come together as a Class, supporting, encouraging and challenging each other onward. You have truly become the supportive learning community for which we had hoped – but which only you can and did make happen.
Please do take some time over the holidays and break to recharge your batteries. Celebrate, relax, and reconnect. Let families, friends, and co-workers know how much you appreciate their support and encouragement in your MEM studies.
To help you get off to a strong start in the new semester, we have scheduled a “Get Ready” web conference for Thursday, January 10, 9-10am CST. This will be an opportunity to briefly discuss tips for getting off to a good start in each Spring MEM course, and to answer any questions you might have. The session will be recorded for students unable to attend live. We’ll also address any questions you have about course registration, etc.
Wishing you joyous holidays. I’m forward to helping you make 2019 a year of great learning and growth,
Wayne
