Our speaker this year was Dave Franchino, President of Design Concepts.  Dave is well known for his expertise in new product development, and shared some great insights on growth as an engineering leader.

The quote from Dave that sticks with me is “Great engineer does not necessarily mean great leader. Leadership is a craft.”  Helping engineers master that  craft is what MEM is all about.
