All new and continuing MEM students:

Hi!  I and fellow MEM faculty and staff are in the midst of planning a great time of learning and connecting with you for the 2018 MEM Summer Residency, August 13-15, at the beautiful UW-Madison campus.  Please confirm your plan to attend by adding your name to the sign-up page; see the link at the Residency Information Page.  Also, be sure to reserve your hotel room, using one of the hotel blocks we have arranged for your use.  If you have any questions about Residency, please post them here and we will provide answers for you and all MEM students.

Please subscribe to this forum so that you are sure to receive timely updates on all announcements related to Residency.

Looking forward to connecting with you at Residency,

Thank you for the update, Wayne!

To all of the new MEM students… Please consider residency as a great opportunity to get to know your Cohorts while enjoying a couple of nice evenings in Madison!  The class of 2019 is looking forward to welcoming you into the Badger Family!!!

I hope to see all of you soon.

      Dear Prof. Pferdehirt,

Is there a recommended dress code for the summer residency?

      Thanks,

      Ismayil

        Ismayil and fellow students:

The recommended dress code for MEM Residency is business casual.

The one exception is that after lunch on Tuesday we will be taking individual photos of students that will eventually be used for your graduation program (see attached example from this year).  For those photos we recommend that men wear a sport coat and tie. (It’s always interesting how the same coat and tie always seem to appear on the photos of several men 🙂  )

        -Wayne
