My name is Nikki Deligny and I am excited to start grad school as a Wisconsin Badger, studying in the Master's in Engineering Data Analytics program! I live in Canton, Ohio, where I work as a Mechanical Design Engineer for Collins Aerospace, designing de-icing components for aircraft while they are in flight. This is my second company since graduating college - previously, I worked as a Design Engineer for Toyota in Ann Arbor.
I'm married with 2 kids - a 3 year old girl and a 9 month old boy. On the weekends, we can be found lounging around our pool or exploring the nearby parks. In my free time, I enjoy boxing, lifting, cycling, reading, and cooking. We try to stay as active as possible!
My main goal from this program is to gain the skills I need to help my company start to process the thousands of data points we get out of our icing wind tunnel. We are in the process of building a new one, capable of generating even more data than before. I'm excited to get back into the academic world, and I can't wait to get started!
