I'm a first-generation immigrant, who continues to experience the American dream by establishing myself through persistence and hard work. I pursued my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from NIU and graduated summa cum laude while concurrently working full-time and serving in the US Army Reserves. The experience of having to move to a new country at age 18 and working to become self-sufficient has granted me great mental and physical perseverance as well as an impressive adaptability to new cultures. At present, I work as a Service Engineer at Collins Aerospace, supporting the power & control aftermarket for commercial aircrafts. This support includes customer investigations, technical review meetings, technical training as well as assisting OEMs, MRO sites and airlines globally with a focus in improving both data analytics and generator product performance. I'm results driven and empathetic to customers (internal or external), paying attention to the most minute details when establishing a plan of action while keeping the broader business goals in mind. I believe that with the appropriate integration of mechanical and business knowledge, I will acquire the skills and vision necessary to become a successful technical leader. Hence, I’m pursuing a master’s degree in Engineering Management starting Spring 2020. I like travelling, exploring new places, learning new languages (currently learning Japanese) and trying new foods. I really enjoy natural sceneries and like many others attempt to capture them through a camera lens (though the real thing is just more breathtaking). I like solving puzzles and coding, if I get a good problem, I'll stay late at work to solve it. I'm also an art, science and music enthusiast and still have so much to learn.
